THROUGH THE PURSUIT

ASI has been adding outside companies and on-campus departments to their list of organizations they have partnerships with. Among the list of partnerships, one of the more recent alliances that ASI has earned, is with Guerilla Union. Guerilla Union is a production company that has worked side by side with ASI Bronco Events and Activities Team (B.E.A.T.) to put together on-campus musical performances. They have welcomingly taken in Cal Poly students who are interested in programming, concert production, promotion and administration. Not only is Guerilla Union letting others tag along for an experience, but they have gone a step further by developing a program called Guerilla Union Extension. This program opens up internships and other opportunities aimed at music business students. ASI and Guerilla Union is giving students an opportunity to see what all is out there for them. When students can see what the world has to offer them, they can continue to develop their ambitions and have the skills necessary to be successful beyond college. Though Guerilla Union stands as an underdog in this highly consolidated concert industry, they have achieved longevity through their guerilla marketing skills and their devotion to providing concert goers with events that appeal to their lifestyles.
