The foundation of the Bronco Student Center Collection of Art is the recognition that artists and their artwork promote community relations, increase cultural awareness and encourage students’ artistic and intellectual growth. By acquiring works by living artists the gallery reflects the diversity of art that is produced, particularly in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. By purchasing art for the permanent art collection, ASI is developing an engaging and stimulating environment to carry out the BSC’s wide range of diverse educational and social responsibilities.
