About the ASI Alumni Chapter
The ASI Alumni Chapter is one of ten official alumni chapters through the Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association. The chapter was formed on August 10, 2005 during an alumni meeting in the England Evans Boardroom at the Bronco Student Center. During this meeting, 20 attendees appointed the following positions: Harold Katzman Acting Chair (ASI President, 1978- 1979), Deanna Cangialosi Acting Co-Chair (Senator-At-Large, 1992-1993) and Marianne Diño Kish Acting Secretary-Treasurer (ASI President 1993-1994). The chapter was officially chartered by the Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association on January 19, 2006.

As of the summer of 2006 there are 40 members of the ASI Alumni Chapter. While the chapter is still new, it continues to grow in both numbers and resources. The chapter is the foundation of ASI Alumni Programs and its goals and mission are similar to that of ASI Alumni Programs.
